About Us
Established in 2018, born from the love of moving camera shots.
Stabilise NZ was setup to provide Cinematographers new and innovative ways to get their shot.
We Provide Expert Techs and Tailored Gimbal Kits to suit your needs and budget.
With 20 years of on set experience behind us we can help Cinematographers with knowledge and the means to pull off their dream shots.
We have a range of Gimbals from the Powerful Ronin2 and Movi-Pro right down to the simple Ronin Rs3 for those hard-to-reach shots.
Stabilise has spent countless hours testing our equipment with every camera and piece of Grip equipment in the NZ Market so we are ready to go with any request from your production.
What We Offer
We walk the line between the Camera Department and the Grips. Attending camera prep we make sure to have solid camera builds that can achieve anything the production needs. Working closely with the Grips we look ahead to make sure we have mounts in place so shifts from handheld to crane or to Dolly are Quick and seamless.
We then support the Operator to get their remote controls into a place they are comfortable and can achieve the best shots.
We make Gimbals Easy on Set.
20 Years of Experience
Shooting all kinds of Stories and events all over the world has shaped Jono into a well-rounded, Level-headed individual who loves to think outside the box to achieve cool shots. Happy to Strap into our Gimbal Support Vest and move our gimbals either in single or dual operator mode, or to stand with the Operator to make sure our gear performs flawlessly.
Jono walks the line between the Camera and Grip Department. Happy assisting the camera team during lens changes while also being familiar with Grip equipment such as Techno Cranes and the Agito Remote Dolly.
A fascination with Moving the camera and a drive to know everything possible about gimbals and there functions has given Jono a deep knowledge of gimbals which gimbal techs all over New Zealand call on for help.
